Let us guide you through the initial steps on how to commence the fastest way to receiving your Hungarian Golden Visa, which grants you and your family a 10+10-year residence permit, allowing you to move, work, and study freely throughout the European Union!

Below, you’ll find your roadmap to obtaining an EU residence permit.

1. Documentation

Interested applicants will receive a list of documents and the application form.

2. Service Agreement

The applicant signs an agreement for the handling of their comprehensive relocation process.

3. Service Payment

Applicant transfers the Application Fee to EUResident’s bank account with appointment.

4. Embassy Appointment

EUresident schedules an embassy appointment for submitting the Type D visa application.

5. Visa Submission

On the scheduled date, the applicant submits the Type D visa application at the embassy.

6. D Visa Issuance

Type D visa is issued within 21 days and collected at the embassy, with 93 days to travel.

7. Hungary Arrival

Upon arrival, Aegir provides transport and schedules an appointment with the Real Estate Fund.

8. Investment Briefing

At the Real Estate Fund, the applicant receives a financial briefing and signs an agreement.

9. Account Opening

Applicant opens an investment account to purchase €250,000 in shares from the Real Estate Fund.

10. Certificate Issuance

The Real Estate Fund issues a certificate confirming the share purchase as proof of investment.

11. OIF Submission

With the investment certificate, the applicant appears before the Hungarian Immigration Office (OIF) to demonstrate compliance with the 2023 Act XC requirements Biometric data is also collected during this phase.

12. Residency Permit Issuance

The residency permit is issued and delivered to the applicant via post.

13. Family Reunification

Family members, including spouses, children under 18, and dependent parents, can apply for reunification at the embassy.

14. Family Residency Permit Issuance

Residency permits for family members are processed in 30 days and collected at the embassy.

Applicants must invest €250,000 in real estate bonds issued by a Hungarian real estate fund registered with the National Bank of Hungary. Investors must hold the investment for at least 5 years.
